No matter how many times I try to remove “Quicktime Loader” or “Adobe Speed Launcher” from my startup programs, they always find their way back. Therefore, waiting for my computer to boot is like waiting for the little, old lady in line at the grocery store to count out the exact change (only more excruciating).
Startup Delayer helps take some of the pain away. You can set all of your startup programs to load at set intervals. So you can let your anti-virus and firewall start right off the bat, but make “Apple Updater” and “ATI Control Center Catalyst” (whatever the hell that does) wait a good 5 minutes before interefering with your life.
